Hand Polo a part, a whole BOM, or just a loose description — type it, dictate it, snap the spec, or attach an Excel / PDF / PowerPoint. Back come numbered cards with Chinese search terms (tap to copy), spec filters, a product preview, and sourcing notes — ready for the Taobao app, or exported to Excel with the images embedded.
How to use Polo
- Tell Polo what you need. Type it, paste a whole BOM (one per line), tap Voice to dictate, attach an Excel / PDF / PowerPoint, or snap a Photo of a spec sheet or a Chinese listing.
- Tap “Build search package.” Polo does the rest — a long BOM streams back as numbered cards, one per part.
- Take it to Taobao. Tap a 搜索词 chip to copy the term (or long-press it for the native Copy menu), paste it into Taobao search, narrow with the 规格筛选 filters, and match against the product image.
No specs? Just describe it.
Polo works from plain descriptions too — e.g. “gold star garland for ceilings,” “clear acrylic disc offcuts,” “magnetic clips for fabric backdrops.” The more you give it (size, colour, material, how it's sold), the sharper the result.
- Tap a product image to open full Google Images results — great for matching the exact item or seeing more angles. (If an image won't load, the card shows a “Photos” link instead.)
- Export to Excel turns the whole list into a shareable sheet with the images embedded — handy for sending to a supplier or your team.
- Polo reads photos and translates Chinese listings — price, size, and how it's sold.
- Always check the Sourcing notes — Polo flags what to confirm with the seller (round vs square, hole vs no-hole, by weight vs by piece).
- Polo preps the search; it doesn't buy or browse Taobao for you — that part's still yours.
